Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing the way modern organizations attract, develop, evaluate and retain employees. Human Resource Management (HRM), traditionally dependent on manual records, managerial judgement and periodic processes, is increasingly supported by intelligent systems capable of processing large volumes of workforce data and generating timely insights. This paper examines how AI is transforming major HRM practices, including recruitment and selection, employee onboarding, performance management, learning and development, workforce planning, employee engagement and retention. It also considers the benefits of AI, such as improved efficiency, faster decision-making, personalization and data-driven workforce management. At the same time, the adoption of AI creates concerns relating to algorithmic bias, privacy, transparency, job displacement, data security and the continuing importance of human judgement. The paper argues that AI should not be viewed simply as a replacement for HR professionals. Its greater value lies in augmenting HR capabilities while allowing professionals to concentrate on strategic, ethical and relationship-oriented responsibilities. Successful implementation therefore requires quality data, responsible governance, employee communication, continuous monitoring and appropriate human oversight.
